Veronika’s work is characteristic of a pursuit of beauty from the perspective of a working artist, and is based on her experiences living and working in a small town in Northern Italy. Filtered by a critical application of her Romantic intuition about the world around her, “ORO” is a genuine perspective reflected by her methodical application of balanced juxtaposition in form, material, and message.
Each individual composition is differentiated by colored tape which holds it up as a distinct part of the exhibition, yet also part of a larger whole. Collectively they compose a single wall of multiple artworks. Like the white light which is reflected by the emergency blanket to become gold, varied experiences and ideas similarly transform our perspectives into something much more valuable. ORO brochure
